Barcelona midfielder Rodri will miss the La Liga matchday 12 game against Atletico Madrid because of an injury. The match against the Madrid side is scheduled for November 8.
Rodri underwent a medical examination after suffering muscle discomfort during Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa in the fourth round of the Champions League league phase, the club said. The examination revealed a minor injury to a muscle at the back of his right thigh.
The club said the player would not feature against Atletico Madrid on Sunday. His recovery period will depend on how the injury progresses. Rodri was substituted at half-time against Aston Villa. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona will kick off at 23:00 Moscow time, or 00:00 on November 9 Baku time.
