“Qarabağ” Konfrans Liqasında mübarizə aparacaq

Qarabag has concluded its participation in the UEFA Europa League following a challenging second-leg match against CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the match held at the Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia ended in a goalless draw during regulation time.

As the first leg in Baku also concluded without any goals, the match proceeded to extra time. Despite two 15-minute periods of play, neither side was able to break the deadlock, forcing the outcome to be decided by a penalty shootout. The Bulgarian side ultimately prevailed with a 5:4 victory, securing their place in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

Following this result, Qarabag will shift its focus to the UEFA Conference League. The Aghdam-based club is set to face Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv in the third qualifying round of the competition. Matches for this round are scheduled to take place on August 6 and August 13.

The UEFA Conference League, introduced by UEFA in 2021, serves as a third-tier European club football competition, providing additional opportunities for clubs to compete in continental tournaments after exiting the Champions League or Europa League qualifying stages.
