Some international centers continue to pursue policies aimed at undermining the national interests of our countries.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks while receiving security officials from member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
The head of state said these centers direct their main efforts toward the younger generation, which has not yet fully formed and is therefore more susceptible to manipulation. “That is precisely why I say—and I know that active youth policies are being implemented in each of our countries—that we should pay greater attention to cooperation among our youth organizations specifically within the framework of the OTS,” he emphasized.
The OTS brings together Turkic-speaking states to promote cooperation in areas including political dialogue, security, the economy, culture and youth affairs. Strengthening contacts among youth organizations is viewed as a way to support people-to-people ties and long-term cooperation among member countries.
