Repair and reconstruction work on the electricity network will be carried out on Oct. 8 in several areas of Baku and the Absheron district to improve power supply quality and meet rising demand.

The company said that repairs at a transformer station in the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department (RETSI) will restrict electricity supply from 10:00 to 13:00 on Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Dadash Bunyadzadeh, Mireli Seyidov, Nazim Hikmet and Taghi Shahbazi streets, as well as part of Inshaatchilar Avenue.
During the installation of a new complete transformer station (KTM), brief power interruptions are expected from 11:00 to 16:00 in some areas of Badamdar Highway and at dead-end 2 in residential area 2, which are served by the Sabail RETSI.
Wires on the two-circuit 6 kV Binagadi-1 and Binagadi-2 overhead lines, supplied by the 110/35/6 kV ETK-4 substation, will be replaced in the service area of the Bilajari Energy Supply and Sales Department (ETSI). Electricity supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 16:00 on 10 May Street and in several parts of the Binagadi village settlement during the reconstruction work.
Scheduled power interruptions from 10:00 to 15:00 will also affect Absheron, Aghakhan Abdullayev, Akim Abbasov, Ali Mustafayev, Ilyas Bayramov, Istiglaliyyat, Gazanfar Alizadeh, Mirvari Dilbazi, Mubarak Ibrahimov, Rashad Huseynov, Rizvan Hashimov, Shikhali Gurbanov and Turgud Khalilbeyli streets in the district, due to repair work at the 110/35/10 kV Masazir substation, which is part of the Absheron RETSI.
Once the work is completed, subscribers in the affected areas will receive a higher-quality and more reliable electricity supply.
