Baku pensions to be paid by September 14

Pensions for residents of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district are scheduled to be paid no later than September 14.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the State Social Protection Fund announced the schedule.

Pensions for September, including those awarded under preferential terms, were paid to residents of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on September 8, to residents of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district on September 11, and today to people registered in other regions of Azerbaijan.

The Fund said that 24,600 people received pensions proactively for old age, disability or the loss of a breadwinner between January and July 2026. Azerbaijan’s pension system provides these payments to eligible recipients, while the Fund administers their allocation and payment.
