The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved the calendar for the 2027 Formula 2 season, which includes a round at the Baku City Circuit.
The Formula 2 race at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on September 24-26. The Baku round will be the last of three race weekends scheduled for September. Drivers will compete in Monza and Madrid before travelling to Baku.
The 2027 season will feature 14 rounds across four continents. It will begin in March at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain and conclude in December on Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates.
The calendar also includes rounds in Istanbul and Mexico City, both scheduled for October. Montreal, which hosted a Formula 2 race for the first time in 2026, has also been retained. Formula 2 rounds are held on weekends when Formula 1 races take place.
