Electricity supplies will be interrupted tomorrow in parts of Baku’s Yasamal, Sabunchu and Khazar districts.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Azerishiq OJSC issued the statement.
The company said repair and reconstruction work would be carried out on Sept. 22 on the power networks of Yasamal, Sabunchu and Khazar districts to improve electricity supply quality and meet rising demand.
Due to repair work at a transformer substation in the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity supplies will be limited from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in parts of Alasgar Alakbarov, Khagan Dadashov, Ismayil Talibli, Vasif Aliyev, Zahid Karimov and Zaur Karimov streets, as well as Huseyn Javid Avenue and Matbuat Avenue.
In the Bakıxanov settlement, which falls under the Sabunchu District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity supplies will be temporarily suspended from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sharq and Ramiz Gambarov streets as new self-supporting insulated wires are installed.
In the service area of the Khazar District Energy Supply and Sales Department, 6-kilovolt power cables will be replaced. As a result of the reconstruction work, electricity supplies will be limited from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in parts of the Albalılıq residential area and Absheron and Izmir streets in the Buzovna settlement.
Once the work is completed, subscribers in the affected areas will receive more reliable and higher-quality electricity. Planned maintenance and network upgrades are commonly carried out to improve the stability of electricity distribution and accommodate increased consumption.
