Power outages planned in parts of Baku on Oct. 2

Electricity supply will be temporarily restricted on Oct. 2 in parts of Baku’s Yasamal and Garadagh districts because of maintenance work.

According to Azerishig OJSC, which provided the information to "Operative Information Center-OMM", repairs will be carried out at several transformer substations in the districts to improve electricity supply quality and meet growing demand.

Electricity supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 in the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department, including Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Ayna Sultanova, Isfandiyar Zulalov, Mirali Seyidov and Umid Akbarov streets, as well as part of Matbuat Avenue.

Some areas of the Buta settlement within the service area of the Garadagh District Energy Supply and Sales Department will experience a brief interruption from 10:00 to 12:00.

After the maintenance work is completed, residents in the affected areas are expected to receive a more reliable and higher-quality electricity supply.
