Swedish Parliament Speaker Andreas Norlén has given Social Democratic leader Magdalena Andersson another mandate to form a government, daily Dagens Nyheter reported on Friday.

The mandate will take effect on Monday, giving the parties the weekend to consider their options. Norlén said the circumstances had not changed since Andersson was first tasked with exploring the formation of a government, making it appropriate for her to resume the effort.

Andersson reportedly agreed to take on the mandate and must report back by Oct. 12, after which parliament will hold a vote on the prime minister. “We put the turbulence of the past week behind us,” Norlén said, adding: “If you are given a mandate, it is good to complete it.”

Andersson was initially asked in mid-September to explore forming a government after her alliance won a majority of seats in the country’s Sept. 13 parliamentary election. She abandoned the attempt later that month, saying she lacked the parliamentary support needed to proceed.
