The number of non-working days in Azerbaijan during the final months of 2026 will vary depending on the workweek schedule.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that in October, employees working a five-day workweek will have nine rest days, while those on a six-day workweek will have four.
November will include three consecutive non-working days. November 8 is Victory Day, while November 9 is State Flag Day. As November 10 will also be a non-working day, November 8, 9 and 10 will be consecutive rest days.
Thus, employees working a five-day week will have a total of 11 non-working days in November, while those working a six-day week will have seven non-working days.
In December, employees on a five-day workweek will have nine rest days, while those on a six-day workweek will have five days off.
December 31 is also considered a non-working day as it is the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
The distribution of working and rest days for 2026 was determined based on the production calendar approved by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The production calendar sets out working and non-working days for the year, taking into account official public holidays and the applicable workweek schedule.
