Amendments have been made to the May 7, 2026, presidential decree No. 662 on the reorganization of Baku Metro CJSC and related changes to, and repeal of, certain presidential decrees and orders.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed the decree.
Under the decree, Baku Metro CJSC has been granted new powers.
The company will provide passenger transport services by cableway and ensure their construction, operation, quality and safety. Passenger cableways are a form of public transport that carries passengers in suspended cabins along an aerial route.
