Power outages will occur in several areas of Mingachevir today due to scheduled maintenance work on the electrical grid.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by Azerishig OJSC that the temporary suspension is necessary to facilitate technical improvements. Specifically, repair works will be conducted on the 6 kV overhead line No. 8, which originates from the 110/35/6 kV "Shahar" substation, as well as the 400 kVA Transformer Point (TP) powered by this line within the Mingachevir Electric Network territory.
As a result, electricity supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 14:00 in parts of Nariman Narimanov, Nizami, and Aliagha Vahid streets. Azerishig OJSC noted that once the repairs are completed, these areas will benefit from a more stable and higher-quality power supply. These infrastructure upgrades are part of Azerbaijan's broader initiative to modernize regional utility networks and ensure energy security for residents in major urban centers like Mingachevir, which serves as a vital industrial and energy hub for the country.
