Pezeşkian: "İran bölgə ölkələrinə hücum etmək niyyətində deyil"

"Attacks by the US and Israel against Iran could lead to the disruption of the world order and global security," Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the president emphasized the necessity of international intervention to prevent further escalation in the region.

"If the international community and international organizations do not investigate and discuss the root causes leading to this war and military aggression against Iran, the world order and global security will be disrupted and plunged into chaos," he noted.

Pezeshkian also stated that Iran would continue to target American military bases in the Middle East if provoked.

He clarified that Iran has no intention of attacking or entering into conflict with other countries in the region:

"As part of the right to self-defense, strikes will only be carried out against military bases from which attacks on our territory are launched."

The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where the geopolitical landscape remains volatile due to ongoing military operations and diplomatic friction. Iran has frequently called on international bodies to condemn unilateral military actions, asserting that regional stability depends on the respect for national sovereignty and the cessation of foreign military interference. This latest rhetoric reflects Tehran's long-standing policy of "active defense," aimed at deterring perceived threats while maintaining its influence in the regional security architecture.
