Azerbaijan’s People’s Artist Alexander Sharovsky will be buried in the Second Alley of Honors in Baku.
The Ministry of Culture told “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
The ministry said a farewell ceremony for the late artist will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the Samed Vurgun Russian Drama Theatre.
The Alley of Honors is a cemetery in Baku where prominent Azerbaijani statesmen, public figures, scientists and cultural figures are buried. The Second Alley of Honors is also designated as a final resting place for notable figures in the country’s cultural and public life.
