The Armenian government has effectively begun implementing the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project (TRIPP).
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing News-Armenia, that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the remarks today at a joint session of parliament’s standing committees discussing the draft 2027 state budget.
Pashinyan said the Armenian government would take the initiative to commission design work for railway, road and electricity lines under the TRIPP project.
“Until a company to develop TRIPP is established, the Armenian government will, on its own initiative, commission design work for railway, road and electricity lines under the project. We do not want to lose time. Once the company to develop TRIPP is established, the Armenian government will hand over the work already completed to it,” the prime minister said.
Pashinyan emphasized that the project would enable Armenia to overcome a gradual process that has continued for more than 30 years.
