A total of 23,194 people were granted age-based labor pensions proactively from January through August this year.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reported the information, citing the State Social Protection Fund under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Men accounted for 58.8% of the recipients, while women made up 41.2%.
Proactive pension assignment enables eligible citizens to receive their pensions without submitting a separate application, based on information available in state databases.
