A traffic accident resulting in a death occurred in Baku.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that an Opel Frontera driven by Vahid Abdulla oghlu Mammadov collided with a Mercedes-Benz E-Class driven by Ozal Elman oghlu Yusov.
Mammadov sustained injuries and was taken to hospital, where he later died.
The Investigation Department of the Sabunchu District Police Department has opened a criminal case under Article 263.2 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
Article 263.2 concerns violations of traffic or vehicle operation rules resulting in a person’s death. Authorities are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
