The Board of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) held a regular meeting on March 12 to review and approve the organization's financial activities for the current year.

According to information provided by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the primary focus of the session was the presentation and discussion of the party's financial report for 2025. Elza Suleymanova, a member of the Chamber of Auditors, addressed the meeting, emphasizing that the financial report was prepared to a high standard in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation. She noted that the document fully reflects the party's financial position and the results of its financial activities for the reporting period. Following the deliberations, the Board members officially approved the 2025 financial report and adopted decisions on various current issues.

Concluding the meeting, Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman of YAP and Head of the Central Administration, highlighted that Azerbaijan has entered a qualitatively new stage of development after fully restoring its absolute sovereignty. He noted that in 2025, designated as the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" in Azerbaijan, the country continues to enhance its national strength and international reputation. Budagov stressed that the New Azerbaijan Party bears a great responsibility in achieving future targets and underlined the importance of organized implementation of tasks arising from the party's Charter and Program.

The New Azerbaijan Party, founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev in 1992, remains the leading political force in Azerbaijan. As the ruling party, it plays a central role in supporting the strategic course of President Ilham Aliyev, focusing on economic diversification, social welfare, and the sustainable development of the liberated territories in Garabagh and East Zangazur. The approval of annual financial reports is a standard transparency procedure required by the Law on Political Parties in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
