A proposal to draft a new “Military Service” law was made in the Milli Majlis (National Assembly).
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Siyavush Novruzov, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Regional Affairs, made the proposal during the parliament’s plenary session on Thursday.
He said that although parliament had amended the Regulations on Military Service, the Law on Military Duty and Military Service, and other legislation, a new law was needed:
“A new bill should be drafted after the Patriotic War and brought into line with standards.”
