The 2026 spring session of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of Azerbaijan has concluded.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the session was wrapped up during today's plenary meeting of the parliament.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova provided an overview of the session's outcomes, stating that the Milli Majlis held 15 meetings, adopting 57 laws and 19 resolutions during the 2026 spring session. She emphasized that the parliament fully accomplished its planned legislative agenda for the period. The session officially closed with the playing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.
Under the Internal Regulations of the Milli Majlis, the spring session of Azerbaijan's parliament begins on February 1 and runs until May 31. The parliament plays a key role in shaping the country's legislative framework, reviewing state budgets, and ratifying international agreements.
