A meeting was held today between Ahmad Ismayilov, chairman of Azerbaijan’s Media and Broadcasting Council, and a Turkish delegation led by Ferhat Pirinççi, deputy head of the Department of Communications under the Administration of the President of Türkiye.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that during the meeting, Media and Broadcasting Council Chairman Ahmad Ismayilov highlighted the importance of existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in media and communications.
The participants emphasized the importance of expanding the exchange of experience in these areas amid the modern information environment and strengthening joint efforts to counter disinformation.
Ferhat Pirinççi, deputy head of the Department of Communications under the Administration of the President of Türkiye, spoke about new opportunities created by digital transformation in media and communications. The sides highlighted the importance of effectively applying new media tools, developing modern communication approaches, and expanding professional ties and joint initiatives between media representatives of the two countries.
The meeting included an exchange of views on opportunities for a coordinated approach to contemporary information challenges and other issues of mutual interest.
