Liverpool to offer €30 million for Barcelona defender Balde

Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde has played just 12 minutes for the team this season.

"Operative Information Center-OMM", citing Independent, reports that the 22-year-old footballer has lost the confidence of head coach Hans-Dieter Flick.

As a result, Barcelona is reportedly planning to sell Balde during the winter transfer window.

According to the report, English club Liverpool are interested in signing the defender.

The Merseyside club is reportedly preparing to offer €30 million for the left-back.

Barcelona, however, wants to generate more revenue from the player's sale and is demanding €40 million for Balde.

Alejandro Balde has made 169 appearances for Barcelona to date. He has scored three goals and provided 21 assists in those matches.

The winter transfer window is a period when clubs can register new players and negotiate permanent transfers or loans, subject to the rules of the relevant football authorities.
