The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has appealed to US citizens in an open letter, calling on them to change their government.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing Russian media outlets.
“We can live together peacefully. Remove from power the ill-intentioned, deceitful and cruel politicians responsible for the current situation in the United States. Entrust the country’s governance not to deceptive people, but to wise ones. Believe that your politicians understand that the world has changed,” the appeal said.
The IRGC also stressed that it harbors no hostility toward the Iranian people.
According to the corps, the slogan “Death to America” is directed not at US citizens but at alleged actions committed by the country’s elite.
The open letter addressed the latest developments in the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran.
According to the information cited in the letter, the United States and Israel began striking Iran on Feb. 28. Iran responded by attacking US facilities in the region. Although Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum in mid-June on suspending military operations, reciprocal strikes later resumed.
The US-Iran conflict remains unresolved.
The IRGC, Iran’s elite military and security force, frequently issues statements on the country’s regional security policy and relations with the United States. Its public appeals are part of the broader political messaging surrounding the continuing confrontation between Tehran and Washington.
