Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held talks with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Araghchi announced the meeting on his Telegram channel.
Chinese media also reported on the meeting between the two foreign ministers.
However, neither side has disclosed details of the talks.
Iran and China maintain broad diplomatic and economic ties, and their senior-level contacts often address bilateral relations as well as developments in the Middle East and wider regional security. No further information about the agenda of the Beijing meeting was immediately available.
