Fink says Sabah will find it difficult to beat Borussia Dortmund

Former Bayern Munich player Torsten Fink, who now coaches Samsunspor, has commented on the UEFA Champions League league-phase match between Sabah and Borussia Dortmund. He said he knew little about the Azerbaijani side, while describing Borussia Dortmund as a very strong team in good form.

Fink praised Niko Kovač, head coach of the Bundesliga side, as a good specialist. He said Borussia Dortmund have strong forwards and midfielders and have brought in high-calibre players.

“The head coach uses different tactics to build attacks. The team presses very well. I think Borussia Dortmund are in excellent physical condition. In my view, it will be difficult for the Azerbaijani side to win,” Fink said.

During his time with Bayern Munich, Fink won the Bundesliga five times and the Champions League once.

The match between Sabah and Borussia Dortmund will take place at Baku Olympic Stadium on October 20. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45.
