Heavy rain forecast in Baku and across Azerbaijan on October 10

The weather forecast for October 10 has been announced.

The National Hydrometeorology Service told Operative Information Center-OMM that intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula tomorrow.

Rain may be intense and heavy in some parts of the peninsula overnight, with thunderstorms possible. It will gradually ease toward the evening. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected.

Temperatures will be 14-17°C overnight and 19-21°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 764 mm of mercury, and relative humidity will be 70-80%.

Intermittent rain is expected in some regions of Azerbaijan. In isolated areas, brief downpours may be intense, with thunderstorms and hail possible. Snow is forecast in high-mountain areas, while precipitation may intensify in some eastern regions overnight from October 9 to 10 and in the morning. Rain will gradually stop in the evening. Fog is expected in some areas overnight and in the morning. Moderate westerly winds are forecast.

Temperatures will be 11-16°C overnight and 20-25°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures will be 2-6°C overnight and 7-12°C during the day.
