Power outages planned in parts of Baku on October 9

Electricity supply will be temporarily disrupted in several areas of the capital due to repair and reconstruction work.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Azerishiq OJSC announced the planned work.

On October 9, repairs will be carried out at a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation in Khatai district, while reconstruction work will take place on the 6 kV “Masazir-1” and “Masazir-2” overhead lines in Binagadi district. The work is intended to improve electricity supply quality and meet growing demand.

In the service area of the Khatai District Electricity Supply and Sales Department, supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 15:00 on part of Ganja Avenue and around School No. 191.

There will be a brief interruption from 11:00 to 16:00 on 10 May Street, which falls under the Bilajari Electricity Supply and Sales Department, and on the lower section of the Khirdalan-Binagadi road.

After the work is completed, consumers in the affected areas are expected to receive more reliable, higher-quality electricity.
