Higher education institutions operating in Baku will switch to distance learning from Sept. 23 to 25.
The Ministry of Science and Education informed the Operative Information Center-OMM about the decision.
An order has been signed to regulate the activities of higher education institutions operating in Baku during the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Under the relevant order issued by the Ministry of Science and Education, classes at higher education institutions in Baku will be held remotely from Sept. 23 to 25.
The order was signed to ensure continuity of the education process while the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix is being held.
Higher education institutions have been instructed to take the necessary measures to implement the order.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is an annual Formula 1 event held in Baku and is part of the city’s international sporting calendar. Moving classes online during the race period is intended to help maintain uninterrupted education while accommodating temporary changes in traffic and urban mobility.
