No state fee will be charged in Azerbaijan when a driving licence is replaced because of errors in its entries.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the provision is included in a bill amending the law “On State Duty.”
The bill is part of the 2027 budget package.
Under the bill, internally displaced persons would also be exempt from state fees for technical inspections of their private cars, and for replacing their technical passports, licence plates and driving licences, if they acquired the vehicles under ownership rights before June 1, 1994.
