The Compulsory Health Insurance Fund’s (CHIF) budget expenditure is projected to reach 2.9802 billion manats in 2027, a 13.7% increase from 2026.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the figure is included in the draft 2027 budget package.
The document is being discussed at a meeting today of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.
Next year, 1.1 billion manats, or 2.6% of Azerbaijan’s state budget expenditure, is expected to be allocated to the CHIF. This is 22.2% above the approved forecast for 2026.
