Azerbaijan to codify school uniform regulations into law

New legal requirements for school uniforms are being established in Azerbaijan.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this development was discussed during today's session of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Science and Education. The proposed amendments to the Law on General Education aim to formalize the regulations regarding student attire in state-run educational institutions.

The legislative change seeks to provide a clear legal framework for the enforcement of uniform policies in public schools. By enshrining these requirements in law, the Ministry of Science and Education aims to ensure consistency and discipline across the national school system.
