A public hearing on tuberculosis is expected to be held at the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of Azerbaijan.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the issue has been included in the work plan of the Milli Majlis Health Committee for the 2026 autumn session.
The hearing is expected to be titled “Tuberculosis control in Azerbaijan: Current situation, challenges and solutions.”
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that primarily affects the lungs and remains a public health concern worldwide. Public hearings provide an opportunity for lawmakers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to discuss prevention, diagnosis, treatment and access to medical services.
