The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MFA) has extended its congratulations to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the occasion of the country's National Day.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the ministry shared a congratulatory message on its official X social media account. "We sincerely congratulate the government and people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the occasion of their National Day. Happy National Day!" the post stated. Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that the development of bilateral relations between Baku and Amsterdam remains a key priority for diplomatic engagement.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands were established in 1992, shortly after Azerbaijan regained its independence. Over the decades, the two nations have developed cooperation in various fields, particularly in the economic sector, including agriculture, logistics, and environmental management. This latest diplomatic gesture underscores Azerbaijan's commitment to maintaining positive international ties and fostering mutual respect with European partners.
