The district prosecutor’s office investigated a complaint alleging that a person’s health was harmed after a procedure to remove excess skin from the upper eyelids at the Kristal Estetik clinic.
The information was provided to Operative Information Center-OMM by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The investigation found that Kristal Estetik LLC involved citizen Aytakin Musayeva in performing duties as a cosmetologist before her employment contract had acquired legal force in accordance with the law.
It was also established that Musayeva did not have higher medical education and that no medical documentation had been prepared for the procedure performed on the citizen.
The Khatai District Prosecutor’s Office initiated administrative offence proceedings against Kristal Estetik LLC and the company’s director, Roza Aliyeva, under Article 192.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, concerning an employer engaging individuals to perform work or provide services before an employment contract acquires legal force, and Article 215.4 of the same code, concerning allowing individuals without higher or specialized secondary medical education or a valid certification certificate required by law to engage in medical practice. The cases were sent to the Khatai District Court for consideration.
By court decisions, Kristal Estetik LLC was fined 20,000 manats under Article 192.1 and 6,000 manats under Article 215.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The company’s director, R. Aliyeva, was also fined 3,000 manats under Article 192.1.
