On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his French counterpart, Jean-Noël Barrot.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shared information about the meeting on its “X” social media account.
The ministers reviewed the bilateral agenda, discussed Azerbaijan-EU relations and exchanged views on key regional and international issues, including the regional security situation and matters of mutual interest.
The UN General Assembly brings together representatives of member states to discuss international peace and security, development and other issues on the global agenda. Meetings held on its sidelines are frequently used for bilateral consultations and exchanges on regional priorities.
