Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is set to resume direct flights from Baku to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), starting May 15. The national carrier will operate the route on a daily basis, providing regular connectivity between the two major hubs.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing AZAL, tickets for the resumed service are already available for purchase through the airline's official website and mobile application. The airline had previously suspended flights to Dubai on February 28 due to regional developments in the Middle East and subsequent airspace restrictions.
The resumption of these flights marks a significant step in restoring Azerbaijan's international air connectivity with the Gulf region. Dubai remains one of the most popular destinations for both tourism and business for travelers from Azerbaijan. AZAL, the country's largest airline and national flag carrier, continues to expand its flight network as part of its strategic development plan, strengthening Baku's position as a regional aviation hub.
