75,500 manats stolen from home in Lankaran

A total of 75,500 manats was stolen from a residence in Azerbaijan’s Lankaran district.

"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that police received information about the theft of 500 manats from a house and a safe containing 75,000 manats.

As a result of operational measures carried out by officers of the Lankaran City District Police Department, Ismat Baxshiyev, Seyhun Huseynov and Yusif Nuriyev were detained on suspicion of committing the crime.

A court ordered the three individuals to be placed in pretrial detention.

Investigations into the criminal case are ongoing.

Lankaran is one of Azerbaijan’s major cities in the southern Lankaran-Astara economic region. Law enforcement agencies continue investigative and operational measures in cases involving theft and other property-related crimes.
