A total of 200 Azerbaijani citizens are being evacuated from the Middle East to Baku via a special repatriation flight from Muscat, Oman, following recent regional developments.

The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) that a Boeing 787 Dreamliner operating the Muscat–Baku route is expected to land at Heydar Aliyev International Airport within the coming hours. The flight aims to ensure the safe return of approximately 200 Azerbaijani nationals who were situated in the United Arab Emirates and other parts of the region.

As the national air carrier of Azerbaijan, AZAL continues to coordinate with relevant government agencies to ensure all evacuation procedures are conducted safely and according to established protocols. Such repatriation efforts are part of the Republic of Azerbaijan's ongoing commitment to protecting its citizens abroad during periods of regional instability or logistical disruptions. Heydar Aliyev International Airport serves as the primary hub for these operations, maintaining high-security standards for all incoming special flights.
