Biography

Rashad Huseynov was born on 12 September 1981 in the city of Ganja.

Since 2016, he has been teaching the subjects “Managerial Economics”, “Microeconomics”, “Development Economics”, “Public Economics” and “Agricultural Economics and Agrarian Policy” at ADA University and Khazar University. In 2016, he served as head of the Projects Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication; in 2020–2022, as head of the Economic Analysis and Analytical Information Department of the same Center; and in 2023–2024, as its Deputy Executive Director. He has worked as a consultant on projects of the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, FAO, UNDP and GIZ.

In July 2024, he was appointed Director of the Agricultural Research Center under the Ministry of Agriculture. He is Chairman of the Center’s Scientific Council. He speaks Azerbaijani, German, English and Russian. He is married and has three children.
