A total of 69,963 people have participated in the five seasons of the "Yuksalish" (Ascent) competition held to date in Azerbaijan.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, this was announced by Farhad Hajiyev, head of the Yuksalish competition's Working Group, during a briefing held for the upcoming sixth competition.

Hajiyev noted that out of the total participants, only 116 individuals have secured the title of winner. Regarding the demographic breakdown, 30.45 percent of the participants were women, while 69.55 percent were men.

Farhad Hajiyev also disclosed data regarding repeat participation over the course of the five competitions: "The number of unique participants stood at 23,804. Those who participated in two competitions numbered 7,718, while 4,430 people took part in three competitions."

Furthermore, 2,473 people participated in four competitions, and 1,111 people joined five competitions. These statistical indicators demonstrate a consistent interest among participants in re-entering the competition to test their management skills.

The "Yuksalish" competition was established by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in July 2019. The project aims to identify and support promising management professionals with high intellectual levels and leadership qualities in Azerbaijan. Winners of the competition receive a career development plan and the opportunity to be mentored by top executives and government officials, contributing to the development of a modern human resources reserve for the country.
