Weather warning issued for drivers in Azerbaijan on June 15

Drivers are advised to exercise caution on the roads.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a weather warning for June 15.

According to the forecast, unstable weather conditions, including rain and fog, are expected across most of the country. These conditions will likely reduce visibility on major highways to between 500 and 1,000 meters, creating challenging driving environments.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, regularly monitors meteorological changes to ensure public safety. Drivers are urged to maintain a safe distance, adhere to speed limits, and use fog lights when necessary to mitigate the risks associated with reduced visibility during such weather events.
