US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is scheduled to pay an official visit to Armenia on May 26, where he will hold high-level talks in the capital, Yerevan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia released a statement confirming the upcoming visit. During his stay, Rubio is scheduled to meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to discuss bilateral relations and regional security matters.
This visit comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts in the South Caucasus region to secure long-term peace and stability. The United States has consistently expressed its support for direct dialogue and the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and regional connectivity.
