Negotiations between the United States and Iran are scheduled to take place on June 30 in Doha, Qatar.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, US President Donald Trump announced the development via his Truth Social account.

"Iran requested the meeting. It will take place tomorrow in Doha!" President Trump stated.

In a separate post, the US President addressed energy markets, noting that the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil has fallen to $69 per barrel.

"WTI oil is at $69, and the price continues to decline. This is lower than the level recorded before Iran began the process of abandoning its nuclear weapons program!" President Trump emphasized.

The upcoming talks in Doha represent a significant diplomatic development in the ongoing efforts to manage tensions between Washington and Tehran. Qatar has frequently served as a neutral mediator in international disputes, leveraging its strategic position to facilitate dialogue between nations with complex diplomatic relations. The focus on energy prices alongside nuclear non-proliferation discussions underscores the multifaceted nature of the current US-Iran engagement.
