The US Embassy in Baku has extended its congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the diplomatic mission shared the message on its official "X" account.
"On behalf of the US Embassy in Baku, we sincerely congratulate everyone in Azerbaijan and around the world celebrating Eid al-Adha. This holy holiday embodies values such as compassion, generosity, and unity, while also highlighting Azerbaijan's rich traditions of religious tolerance and multiculturalism. Eid al-Adha, or the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant religious holidays in the Islamic calendar, celebrated annually by Muslims worldwide. In Azerbaijan, the holiday is observed with deep respect for tradition, emphasizing charity, community support, and the strengthening of social bonds.
