European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has arrived in Ukraine for her 11th official visit to the country.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the European Commission President announced the visit via her official account on the X social media platform.
The primary objective of this visit is to further expand cooperation between the European Union and Ukraine in the defense industry and to announce new integration initiatives. Ursula von der Leyen stated that these measures are intended to increase military production and strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
During the visit, discussions are expected to focus on Ukraine's European Union accession process, as well as the country's preparations for the upcoming winter season, particularly regarding energy infrastructure resilience.
