Turkish club Trabzonspor has appointed a new head coach.
"Operative Information Center-OMM", citing NTV Spor, reports that Thomas Reis will take charge of the team. The parties have reportedly reached an agreement.
The German coach, who currently leads Bulgaria’s Ludogorets, is expected to arrive in Trabzon today. According to the report, he will be in charge when Trabzonspor face Galatasaray in the Super Lig on September 19.
Huseyin Cimşir had been serving as Trabzonspor’s interim head coach.
Trabzonspor is one of Turkey’s prominent football clubs and competes in the country’s top division, the Turkish Super Lig. The club has won the league title several times and regularly competes for places in European competitions.
