Okan Buruk handed one-match suspension

The Turkish Football Federation’s Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) has handed Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk a one-match suspension.

According to a federation statement, Buruk was suspended for one match and fined 100,000 Turkish lira for unsporting conduct toward the referee during the match against Trabzonspor.

Galatasaray player Leslie Ugochukwu, who was shown a red card during the game, received a two-match suspension for a serious foul against an opposing player.

Amed Sportif Faaliyetler head coach Besnik Hasi was also suspended for one match and fined 100,000 lira for unsporting conduct toward the match referee.

According to the committee’s statements, no sanctions were imposed on Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı, Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan, Amed Sportif Faaliyetler president Nahit Eren or Çorum FK president Savaş Balçık, who had been referred to the disciplinary committee.

For various violations, Amed Sportif Faaliyetler was fined 2,542,500 lira, Beşiktaş 755,000 lira, Trabzonspor 560,000 lira and Galatasaray 350,000 lira.
