A criminal case against a person accused of killing two people in Tartar has been sent to court.
The Prosecutor General’s Office press service told “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
It said an investigation was launched by the Criminalistics Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office’s Department of Criminalistics and Information Technology after a house at 38 Nariman Narimanov Street in Tartar caught fire on Aug. 6 this year. The charred bodies of Adila Huseynova, born in 1954, and her husband, Asgar Samadov, born in 1941, who lived in the house, were found with signs of violence.
Investigators established reasonable suspicion that Vugar Bakhshaliyev, born in 1987 and previously convicted, unlawfully entered the victims’ home for financial gain and injured them with a cutting tool. He allegedly stole a large amount of money from the house and, to conceal the crime, used fuel he had brought with him to set fire to the home and the victims, intentionally killing them with particular cruelty.
Based on the evidence gathered, Bakhshaliyev was recharged under Articles 120.2.4 (intentional murder with particular cruelty), 120.2.6 (intentional murder to conceal another crime), 120.2.7 (intentional murder of two or more people), 120.2.11 (intentional murder in connection with robbery), 181.3.3 (robbery) and 186.2.2 (intentional destruction of property by arson) of the Criminal Code.
The case has been referred to the Ganja Court of Grave Crimes for consideration.
