The ministry’s official statement said that since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, attacks have killed 1,460 people and injured 5,116. It also said that search-and-rescue teams had recovered 836 bodies from beneath the rubble.
The total number of people killed in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has thus reached 74,243, while 175,232 have been injured. The statement said thousands of bodies are still believed to remain beneath the rubble.
