Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has shared his thoughts ahead of the Champions League league-phase second-round match against Manchester United. His comments were reported by Marca.
The Argentine coach said the opponents press aggressively in the opposition half and have fast players. Simeone noted that although Manchester United began the season with draws, they are creating the same number of scoring chances as they did last season.
Simeone said Atletico would try to steer the match in a direction that allows his team to hurt their opponents.
Atletico Madrid and Manchester United will meet in Madrid on October 13. The match will kick off at 11 p.m. Baku time.
